Christmas In Tokyo

The only present I needed for Christmas was Pam's arrival on the 24th. She had a bit of an adventure getting here in that her flight from Atlanta to Tokyo had to land in Minneapolis because a passenger had a seizure and needed to go to the hospital. The plane was so heavy that they had to wait in Minneapolis for the brakes to cool off before they could leave, so the flight was about four hours late.

I met her at the airport and escorted her back to my place, which she later said she was glad for because she wasn't sure she'd have been able to navigate the airport (though I think she would have done just fine.)

After a day resting up we went out for Christmas dinner at Fujimamas as I figured a traditional meal would help Pam get settled. We got turkey, potatoes, green beans and stuffing served family style.

And the two of us:

It was very nice way to celebrate the holiday!
